Patient Experience
Safe noninvasive ultrasound scan, takes a few minutes, incorporated into existing visits or scheduled events. Because there is literally NO RISK, while a brief explanation is polite, Informed Consent is not necessary. It is more effective to “scan and show” than to spend precious time explaining. Scan first, answer questions later. Seeing is believing. Deidentified images can be texted/and or emailed to the patient for motivation and awareness.
